Ashfield Building Group have lost count of the number of times we’ve been asked to carry out bespoke residential developments at the luxury end of the market. Many architects see us as the ‘go-to’ contractor for this type of project and the latest example is a superb new build home in Leeds.
Occupying a sought-after location in Thorner, the Sandhill Villas property has been designed by Harrogate-based Studio Map architects to provide stunning contemporary living over three storeys. The interiors will enjoy a wide range of high-specification features, including underfloor heating and vapour control layers in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Ashfield have commenced work in collaboration with Ripon-based structural engineers, McGregor Lang Limited, with a view to complete the development by end of year. We are incorporating materials of exceptionally high quality for the internal and external leaf, floor construction, roof construction (which features a natural slate finish), wall cladding, windows, internal and external doors, rainwater goods and drainage, pathways, driveways and paving.
The largely open-plan ground floor comprises a spacious dining kitchen, snug, utility and cloakroom. The first floor features a double bedroom, secluded study, shower room and living room with a twin set of French doors opening out onto the patio. The impressive top floor includes a large en-suite bedroom with French doors opening out onto a substantial sun terrace which occupies the roof space extending above the first floor.
Ashfield Building Group Director, Joel Ramsden, said:
