One such example can be found at Church Lane in Chapel Allerton, where we built a residential development which has received Silver Standard Certification from the Association for Environment Conscious Building (AECB).
Ashfield Group is ensuring that the property is built to the requirements of the design by Leeds Environmental Design Association (LEDA). This includes a complete thermal envelope, with continuous air-tight and wind-tight layers, and construction which eliminates thermal bridging to prevent the transfer of heat between the interior and exterior. The air-tight design will significantly improve the moisture performance of walls and prevent heat loss caused by leaks as well as increasing comfort through the elimination of cooling drafts.
