More than a decade since Ashfield Group were first employed by a Guiseley couple to manage a garage extension and rear garden development, the Whitakers have turned to us for a third time to carry out a complete alteration to the building.
The garage has now been converted to create an independent living area for a relative. It has been transformed into a living room with hallway to the main house and a bedroom with en-suite shower room. Clever features introduced by Ashfield include a ‘vaulted’ ceiling to create a sense of space after the floor had to be raised level with the house.
“The team worked so well with each other, having discussions with the architect and helping make the new area come together so beautifully with the house,” said Maggie Whitaker.
