Office upgrade marks next stage in Ashfield expansion

Ashfield Group have reached another staging post in our ambitious growth strategy with a new contract to provide an extensive office refurbishment for one of the UK’s most dynamic providers of flexible business space.

We have been asked to carry out the work at Gresley House in Doncaster on behalf of BizSpace, a company which currently owns over 100 sites nationwide, comprising a range of workspace including offices, workshops, industrial units, storage space and meeting rooms. Ashfield’s wide-ranging programme of works will refresh the accommodation with a contemporary upgrade in conjunction with BWP, a Manchester-based construction and property consultant which provides a wide range of building surveying, project management and cost management services across a variety of sectors in the commercial, residential and local government.

Ashfield’s contract includes the demolition of existing internal partitions over three floors and stripping out of existing fittings, including M&E. This will be followed by a comprehensive fit-out and full refurbishment of reception and toilet areas. Ashfield will install new double-glazed windows, incorporate new partitioning and joinery and replace raise access floors and suspended ceilings.

Joel Ramsden, Ashfield’s Head of Business Development, commented on the project:

“As part of our expansion plans, Ashfield are focused on strategic relationship building with major players in property and BizSpace are certainly in that category.  We are also pleased to be working with a highly regarded company like BWP. Ashfield are seeking to develop new business in the commercial sector and securing the Gresley House contract reflects our credentials in this type of development.”

Gresley House offers a range of serviced offices and meeting rooms and is in an excellent location close to both the town centre and motorway network. The business centre has a large car park and is set within attractive landscaped grounds.
